How to turn off System Beep on Windows XP, Vista and Server 2003:
1- Click on Start and click on Run
2- Type "regedit" in the textbox and click OK button or press Enter
3- Click on HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> Control Panel -> Sound
4- On the right hand side of the screen, you will see BEEP
5- Right click on Beep and click on Modify
6- Type in No in the Value Data field, default value is Yes
7- Click Ok and Restart
